Australian quilter, Sharon Boggon, created a wonderful Y2K crazy quilt titled "I dropped the button box". As a YSK quilt, it had to have 2001 different bits in it - with Sharons' definition of 'bits' being either a different fabric, lace, braid,
charm, button or ribbon. 2001 different
'bits' was much harder to have on hand than she realised - till her button collection
saved the day!
